To hide someone’s cigarette, when they crave a smoke?

You think it’s funny?

To disappear the remote

When one is waiting to check the score

On the cricket match

Far distant from your life’s pleasures and woes?

I think it hilarious

And so I steal, your magazines, and powdered magic scones.

Lashing out a tantrum

No sense of humour, no funny bone

How did we share bonds of blood?

How did we become kins?

After you turned this

A monster

I want to get away

From even the shadow of your souls.
